Training My Little Pack

When I am not off training other dogs I am usually training my own little pack of five.  Some people, even friends of mind have said “little dogs don’t need training” referring to my 3Lb Chihuahua but big or small they are all dogs and they all need training.  You see, I don’t care for unruly pets or children for that matter.  So every chance I get, I train even the kids.  For dogs and puppies every moment of their lives is a learning moment so why not educate and learn to communicate with our pets.  It makes for peace and harmony in the minds of our pets and in ours.  I have had some serious challenges with my pack from, separation anxiety, fear, excessive barking and whining etc. Being consistent, structured and understanding each dogs personality has brought the house into harmony.  Giovani was a bad puller on the leash,  every time he stepped out side all he would do is bark, after training him to relax out side,  focus on me and walk calmly I was able to add him to my pack of dog walking.  Normally I walk three of my dogs together and today I am proud to say I added little Giovani and to my astonishment, not only, did he walk beautifully he obviously was the happiest little chihuahua keeping up with his pack. My little man was stepping proud, head up, tail up and did not pull on the leash once.  I am very proud of him and the work he did, sometimes I worry I am not training my own dogs enough as I should be, will after today I stand corrected.  I guess my dogs are training me as well.

Love you Giovani keep up the great work!
